Alex Byun — who goes by Veriun on his artistic side — is a Korean American who loves to travel and finds a quiet joy in capturing it. There's no formal training behind what he creates: no design education, no photography or videography background. His years of study went toward Information Technology, both in undergrad and grad school — a world built on logic, not light and composition.

The camera came later, for a simple reason. In his early twenties, Alex realized he didn't have a picture of himself he liked — nothing for a profile, nothing for LinkedIn. So he picked one up, and it became a habit worth keeping: noticing small moments, returning to places, and slowly learning to see the world a little more gently.
